 The OHF Commitment

OHF Consulting operates at the intersection of high-level business strategy and environmental stewardship. While our consultancy services span the UK and Europe, our heart is rooted in the British landscape. We recognize that as a remote-first business, our operational footprint is lean, yet we choose to go beyond "carbon neutrality." We are a "Nature-Positive" firm, using our success to fund the literal restoration of the ecosystems we inhabit.

The Five ESG Strategy Pillars

Our roadmap is built on five core areas of impact, ensuring high-growth ventures achieve excellence without compromise.

Pillar 1: Governance (The Ethical Blueprint)

Goal: To lead with radical transparency and legal accountability. We are formalizing our commitment to stakeholder-driven business, ensuring that every board-level decision considers the planet as a primary stakeholder.

B Corp Legal Alignment: Amending our Articles of Association (commencing Q4 2026) to legally mandate the consideration of social and environmental impact alongside profit.

Data Integrity & Confidentiality: We manage sensitive data for a diverse portfolio of European and UK clients. We maintain rigorous cybersecurity protocols and absolute client confidentiality as a cornerstone of our governance.

Ethics & Transparency: Bi-annual governance reviews and a commitment to publishing a "Social Value Report" starting in 2027.

Pillar 2: Workers (Empowering the Remote Workforce)

Goal: To define the future of sustainable, remote-first work. Operating across borders requires a culture of trust and high-performance wellbeing.

Borderless Wellbeing: Providing tailored health and mental wellbeing support that recognizes the unique challenges of remote consultancy in the UK and Europe.

Impact-Driven CPD: Each team member receives 3 days per year to dedicate to our UK restoration sites or local environmental volunteering.

Inclusion by Design: Maintaining a diverse, meritocratic associate network that reflects the European markets we serve.

Pillar 3: Community (Social Value in Action)

Goal: To use our "Blue Spaces" as a catalyst for local wellbeing. Our social commitment focuses on breaking down barriers to nature, specifically through our managed fishing lakes.

The Blue-Space Initiative: Hosting 12 community fishing events per year, specifically targeting women and youth groups to promote outdoor education and mental health.

Educational Outreach: Partnering with 5 local UK schools annually to provide pro-bono ecology advice and "classroom-on-the-water" sessions.

Economic Contribution: Prioritizing local UK and European SMEs for our own procurement needs, ensuring our spending supports small-scale resilience.

Pillar 4: Environment (Our 20-Acre Legacy)

Goal: To transform 20 acres of UK land into a biodiversity powerhouse. While we consult for clients across Europe, we have chosen to anchor our environmental legacy in the UK through direct land ownership and management.

The 20-Acre Restoration KPI: We are committed to the restoration and maintenance of 20 acres of UK-based habitat and fishing lakes by 2028. This includes:

Desilting and Re-oxygenation: Returning degraded lakes to thriving aquatic ecosystems.

Native Planting: Reintroducing indigenous flora to support local pollinators and birdlife.

Net-Zero Operations: Offsetting all operational travel between UK and European hubs through the carbon sequestration provided by our own 20-acre restoration project.

Biodiversity Audits: Commissioning annual independent ecological audits to track species richness across our sites.

Pillar 5: Customers (Integrity-Led Consultancy)

Goal: To be the "Mindful Partner" of choice for European business. Our clients value us not just for our expertise, but for the integrity we bring to the table.

Confidentiality & Trust: While our client list remains confidential to protect competitive advantage, our reputation is built on the rigorous delivery of business-critical solutions.

Value Alignment: We actively seek to work with organizations that are on their own journey toward ESG maturity.

Feedback & Impact: Conducting annual "Ethical Performance" surveys with our clients to ensure our consultancy style remains "Mindful and Giving."

Our B Corp Roadmap
(Q4 2026 – 2029)

Q4 2026

Phase 1: Mobilization 

Formally initiate the B Impact Assessment (BIA) and perform a "Gap Analysis" against the new 2026 B Corp standards.

2027

Phase 2: Operational Rigor

Complete legal Article amendments. Roll out the "Supplier Code of Conduct" for all UK and European partners

2028

Phase 3: Verification

Reach the 80-point threshold. Finalize the 20-acre UK restoration milestone. Submit for B Lab verification.

2029+

Phase 4: Impact Leadership

Certification achieved. Begin mentoring other UK/EU SMEs on integrating land-based restoration into service-based models.
